Lincoln Park 2011 - Bones and Fishes

Lincoln Park 2011

Lincoln Park in West Seattle is one of Quincy’s favorite parks for some easy hiking. There are some pretty steep trails, but most of it is fairly flat and easy. For this particular walk, we headed straight to the beach path and left out wooded areas.

Lincoln Park is right on the Puget Sound and, on a clear day, has a beautiful view. Our trip there last December was a very clear day, and perfect for a walk on the beach.

Lincoln Park is located in West Seattle.

Quincy always enjoys sniffing around on the beach. It’s hard to get him to sit still for pictures like this, but a cookie usually does the trick!

We found some strange orange fungi growing on dead wood.

The ferries crossing the sound can be seen from the beach.
